Visit to “Sunsun Winery,” famous for “Sunsun Wine” in Nagano Prefecture,JAPAN
This time, I’m introducing the “Sunsun Winery” located in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, which is well-known for “Sunsun Wine.”
I’ll share my experience of the tour and wine tasting during my visit in November 2024.

About the Winery
Sansan Winery operates with the motto “Maximize the local character and produce beautiful wines.” They create wines by making the most of the region’s unique terroir, delivering high-quality products.
Wine Tasting
You can enjoy free tastings of around 4 to 5 varieties of wines. Additionally, the attached restaurant offers glass wines starting at 200 yen.
Winery Tour, Fees, and Reservation Method
The winery tour requires a reservation in advance.
There are two tours held per day, but you can also visit independently if you prefer.
The tour is free of charge.

🚗By car: Approximately 5 minutes from the Shiojiri Interchange on the Nagano Expressway, or about 15 minutes from the Okaya Interchange.
🚆By public transportation: Take the Chuo Line to Shiojiri Station and take a taxi for about 12 minutes, or take the Chuo Line to Okaya Station and take a taxi for about 15 minutes.
